What is meant to be yours, will be yours

Most of us spend quite some time everyday hoping for favourable outcomes from our day to day activities, more precisely, the journey of life. It is not just the beautiful and sweet things we wish for, I am also talking about the other set of events which are as certain as day and night – the hard times. I am definitely not trying to say that don’t be positive or don’t hope for only sweet things to happen, in fact, I am trying to say, find positivity and happiness in hard times too.

At times, even when you are putting in your hundred percent efforts to your work or whatever you like doing, you may get the worst results because of someone or some series of incidents which you had no control over. It is absolutely okay to be disappointed but, one thing we need to remember is that, it happens for good. It will certainly help you realise how strong you are and you become wiser at the end! You learn the value of so many things you failed to notice before and of course, you get to have a whole new experience. There is nothing to regret or feel bad about, you either realise you really like the new experience else, you again learn from it. Life has its own way of teaching us and it is absolutely beautiful, all that matters is the way you see it. (yad bhaavam tad bhavathi) When you have to face something, why not, do it with a smile?

These unforeseen incidents may make us feel depressed or get a feeling that we are moving far away from what we want, but, in my opinion, this is just an illusion. You cannot miss what is meant to be yours. You may not get it the way you had imagined it or in the time frame you expected it but if it is meant to be yours you will get it. No human can stop it from reaching you. It certainly does not matter as to what people want to say about your passion, the way you don’t like to socialise or your fashion sense or anything they try to do to pull you down or stop you from doing or getting what you want. They can become powerful enough to do it only, and only if you let them do it by responding to them, so just smile and IGNORE them. You cannot impress everyone all the time and it is okay, but never stop yourself from doing what you want. Never let anyone or anything stop you from doing what you actually want, and this comes with a baggage- you are responsible for any outcome you get, but remember you never fail. You either learn from it or you find happiness from it. So fight for your passion, ambition and happiness because no one else can do that for you. This doesn’t mean you can take random risks, as long as you have faith, trust and confidence in yourself and you are ready to face whatever is the outcome, just do it.

God has a way of organizing and redesigning things to suit his and he will send somebody from the east to the west or wherever to give you what is meant to be yours. His infinite power, wisdom and force will always surpass our understanding, and leave us in surprised. All that we need to do is to have faith and patience to see what he has in store for us.

All of us have our own paths, uniquely created and as we travel closer to different goals and stages of life, we gain our own set of experiences, lessons and memories. So, instead of adjusting our speed to someone else’s let us enjoy our own journey and at the speed we are destined to. Just the way no 2 humans by nature have the same DNA, we cannot have the same journey, maybe not even something similar to what our parents had. So let us find positivity in every step and every phase and every incident as we travel.

Finally, I would love to repeat what one of my favourite teacher, Dr. C R Nagendran told me just before I left home in 2018. It has stuck with me since then and I hope it sticks with you too.

“ Life is like a jigsaw puzzle, every event and person is like a piece and a lot of times most incidents look so disappointing and confusing at present( like when it happens) , but at the right time when more pieces start settling at their right places, everything makes perfect sense”
