“Journeys Through Cascading Dreams”

This second painting in the series is a dreamscape inspired by the enchanting views encountered while journeying through the small towns of Western Canada. As I sat and observed, it was magical to see each drop race past me before taking a leap of joy into an unknown expedition, much like our lives where the next moment remains uncertain. The drops, indifferent to their pace or beauty, traverse obstacles with determination. When one drop encounters a rock and momentarily reverses, a stronger surge of drops follows, pushing it past the obstruction. This teaches us to let the wave of positivity outweigh the negative and unpleasant thoughts that pass through our minds, allowing us to advance further on our journey. The waterfalls depicted in the painting are inspired by a variety of cascades observed from the east to the west of Canada, while the hue of the water reflects the cool, unique blue of glacial-fed water bodies.

“ Echoes of the Canadian Rockies “

This painting series is a vivid portrayal inspired by the profound stories etched within the stones of the majestic Canadian Rockies. Spending a weekend there made me think about how every rock contributes its own texture and color, enriching the tapestry of life. The minimalistic yet vibrant hues around narrate a journey filled with adventure and exploration. The stones bear witness to the footsteps of intrepid wanderers, firmly embedded into the earth, forever marking their passage. Guided by gravity, crystal-clear streams flow from the most unexpected glacier crevices, carrying fragments of the mountains along their exhilarating course and the resulting cascade of icy-cold freshwater not only tastes refreshing but also brings forth a sense of invigorating joy. This split painting is just my way of capturing the intricate dance between the stones, water, and nature's transformative forces, showcasing the captivating beauty that arises from their interplay! Just in case you are wondering , this isn’t a realistic painting of a particular place but just my imagination inspired by Athabaskan glacier, Emerald lake and lake Louise !
